COMPONENTS OF ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEM

The Electric Power System is an interconnected network of electric equipment.

There are three (3) types of Electric Power Systems;

GENERATION SYSTEM
     Converts energy from one of its form into Electrical form.

TRANSMISSION SYSTEM
     Transport the electric energy from the generating plants to power centers of Distributors and Bulk-Power Customer.

DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
     Delivers the electric energy to end-users who converts the energy to a usable form (e.g., mechanical, light, and heat).
